Reynolds Museum
Today we decided to visit the Reynolds Museum. We learned lots about different methods of transportation, agriculture, aviation, and other technologies. We saw many different kinds of cars, their chassis, and different tractors. The younger kids enjoyed looking at and learning about the different kinds of mechanical advantage. We also saw many airplanes and pilots – we even saw Chris Hadfield! (He’s a bit of a celebrity around our house.)
There were a several demos at the museum, including one on rope making which the kids enjoyed taking part in and another that explained how grain elevators work.

When we finished at the museum we had lunch and set out to visit our relatives in Beaumont.
