This morning we arrived a little early for the opening of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, so we took advantage of the time to explore Wascana Place Park in central Regina. We walked along the board walk and took some time admiring the landscape and having some fun at the playground.
When the museum opened we headed in to start exploring. Our reciprocal museum memberships didn’t get us access here, but the museum operates on donations, so it was still a very affordable activity to do.
We continued on driving west, stopping in at Moose Jaw where we toured the Tunnels of Moose Jaw. They didn’t allow pictures during our tour, but it was quite interesting learning about the Chinese immigrants and their hardships. The tour guide played her part quite well and we played the part of the new immigrants making the history lesson very memorable.
