Yes, that’s me with a power tool!

Today plans continued for “Our Travel Extravaganza”, but with more of a focus on organizing things in the suburban.  Using a piece of plywood and a handy pocket jig we made a box large enough to store luggage in and a platform that goes across the cargo area.  We covered the surface with dry erase board adhesive vinyl from our local dollar store to prevent splinters and give us a nice surface.  We also reinforced the edges with duct tape for a more finished look and to insure the vinyl stays put.  This will help keep us organized and the platform will serve as a sleeping surface with the added flexibility of being used as a make-shift table if needed.  As an added bonus it will keep things a little more secure as our luggage will be out of view.

Only two weeks until our departure……and still so much to do!
