In our backyard we have a couple of beautiful weeping willows.  One of them we affectionately refer to as our “Poet Tree”.  The branches of the tree form almost a little room under it and we have have a couple of Adirondack chairs tucked in there, so it is a magical place where we sometimes go to read outside.  This morning the younger kids and I enjoyed some fresh air under our Poet Tree as I read them “If I Ran the Zoo” by Dr. Seuss.

It’s nice to have a special place to read, get away or just think.  Consider adopting your own Poet Tree with your family.  If you don’t have a yard you can choose one at a local park.
