My younger kids are excited about their upcoming Valentine exchange with our homeschooled friends.  We searched the Internet for ideas and each one of them prepared their own special Valentine for their friends.  “A” decided on neat idea we came across on Tammy Mitchell’s site.  We changed it up a bit opting for pre-packaged goldfish bags we picked up at Costco.

Inspiration for L’s Valentines came from the dollar store.  We picked up these mini takeout containers and filled them with Hershey Kisses.  To make the tags we raided my Craft Room.  We used some coloured scrapbook paper and my Cricut Cutter to make various sized hearts.

E’s Valentine inspiration also came from the Internet.  She loves her iPod and when she saw this free printable on Living Locurto she knew exactly what she was going to do for her Valentines.  This clever Conversation Heart box cover really suited her to a T and was a big hit with all her friends.

The Internet really is a great source of ideas and I’m so grateful as a busy mom of five that so many people are willing to share their ideas on their blogs.  I do hope you will visit some of the links above, as these sites have lots and lots of great idea
